The HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting course empowers participants with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively deliver first aid to infants, children, and adults within educational and childcare settings. This thorough training aligns with the standards set by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), making it ideal for childcare professionals, educators, and others involved in the care of children.

This course is delivered in-person at our campus, offering hands-on training in a realistic, simulated workplace environment. Participants benefit from fully equipped training facilities designed to enhance practical learning. Each unit is delivered independently, ensuring focused and comprehensive instruction.

While there are no formal entry requirements specified by the Industry Training Package for this qualification, the Australian Institute of Digital Technology (AIDT) has outlined the following prerequisites for individuals interested in enrolling in this course:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Applicants should possess adequate language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills to understand the course materials and safely complete required tasks
