HLTAID011 -Provide first aid
The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to respond to a variety of emergency situations and provide first aid in line with current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This course is suitable for individuals across various fields, including workplaces, community groups, and anyone interested in being prepared to assist in emergencies.
The course is delivered face-to face in a classroom and/or online incorporates a simulated workplace environment and access to fully equipped training facilities at our campus. All units are delivered as stand-alone delivery.
While there are no formal entry requirements specified by the Industry Training Package for this qualification, the Australian Institute of Digital Technology (AIDT) has outlined the following prerequisites for individuals interested in enrolling in this course:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Applicants should possess adequate language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills to understand the course materials and safely complete required tasks
